Authentic arrows of dogwood shaft, shaft barrel tapered. 3 crooked shaft growths. Turkey wing feather fletched, glued and genuine sinew fletched with iron and bone points. Earth color cresting in Sioux and Appache tribe colors.
 

 
Shield is made from shrunken raw hide. The raw hide is placed over hot stones and water is poured over it to shrink the hide. 16" in diameter approx 2/8" thick. Front side is painted with buffalo symbol plus sun and moon medicine, accented with stone eagle and owl feathers, strap braided buckskin dyed with earth colors. Backside is sun symbol and holding straps. It is a horizontal concave shield, not flat.
